Social media.
Plan, approve, publish.

Social media is the module in Saldora that takes posts for your clients’ channels from draft to publication. On a board you plan posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Google and X. Your clients review every version, comment right on the post and approve it – with exactly the permissions you give them.

How does an idea become a published post?

Four stations: create the post, have the client approve it, set the date – and the notice as soon as it is live.

  1. 1

    Create the post

You choose the social client and channel, and further channels under “Also on”. Then come topic, text, hashtags and an image with an image description. You set date and time in Zurich time; you save it as a “Draft”, visible only internally, or directly “For approval”.

  2. 2

    The client reviews and approves

Once the post is set to “For approval”, the client is notified. They approve it, request an adjustment with “Changes requested” or edit the text themselves if you allow it. You add a change note to your adjustment; under “Versions” the changes are shown side by side.

  3. 3

    Set the date

For a post that is already scheduled, the client can propose a new date, at least 30 minutes in advance. You accept it and confirm with the status “Scheduled”, or decline the request with a reason. The board shows every post in “Draft”, “For approval”, “Scheduled”, “Published” or “Error”.

  4. 4

    Published and reported

Saldora schedules approved posts via the Ocoya integration and reports as soon as they are live. For this, you connect Ocoya under Settings → Integrations and assign a brand to each social client. If a transfer fails, the post is set to “Error”, and you transfer it again.

What do you get with the Social media module?

Four things for working together with your clients.

  • Permissions per client user

When inviting, you choose what the person may do: approve posts, comment and request changes, change date and time, withdraw posts or edit text and hashtags directly.

  • Drafts visible only on request

Drafts are visible only internally. If a client should see them, switch on “Drafts visible to client users” for the social client.

  • Filters and archive

You filter the board by client, channel and month. Older posts are in the archive.

  • Linked to the CRM

If you wish, you link each social client to a customer from your CRM.

Frequently asked questions about Social media

The module in which you plan posts for your clients’ channels, have them approved and schedule them. A board shows every post from draft to publication.

LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Google and X. You create a post for one channel and choose further ones under “Also on”.

Once the post is set to “For approval”, the client sees the actions “Approve”, “Changes requested”, “Withdraw” and – if allowed – “Edit text”. With “Changes requested” they describe what should be changed.

You define that when inviting them: approve posts, comment and request changes, change date and time, withdraw posts, and edit text and hashtags directly.

Under “Versions” in the post. There the changes are compared side by side per version.

Via the Ocoya integration, which you set up under Settings → Integrations with “Connect to Ocoya”. You assign an Ocoya brand to each social client; without a brand, their posts cannot be scheduled.

In the time zone shown next to the date, usually “Zurich”.
