Document archive.
File, find, share selectively.

The document archive is the module in Saldora that files contracts, insurance policies and client documents in one place. You organise files in folders, and the AI also reads the text in scans and PDFs and makes it searchable in full text. Replaced files are kept as a version, and with a link you share a document for 7 to 90 days.

How does a file become a document you can find?

Four stations: file it, make it searchable, keep versions – and share selectively.

  1. 1

    File in folders

Under “Documents” you create folders with name, colour and icon, and subfolders inside them in the same way. With “Upload” you drag PDFs, images, Office and text files of up to 25 MB per file into the folder. You move items by dragging them onto another folder.

  2. 2

    Searchable down to the scan

The search finds names and contents, including the text in scans and PDFs. You narrow the results by file type and period. In a file’s details, “Full text” shows whether it is already “searchable” or still “being indexed”.

  3. 3

    Replace without losing anything

With “Replace” you upload a new version; the previous file is archived as a version and remains downloadable under “Versions”. The “History” shows who did what and when. Deleted items land in the recycle bin and can be restored.

  4. 4

    Share with a link

“Create link” generates a share link, valid for 7, 14, 30 or 90 days. If you switch off “Allow download”, the recipient can only view the document. Under “Shares” you manage all active links and invalidate them immediately with “Revoke”.

What do you get with the Document archive?

Four things that govern order and access.

  • Permissions per folder

In the folder menu, “Access” defines who sees the folder: per team member “No access”, “Read” or “Edit”. Locked folders carry a padlock.

  • Share with a project

With “Share with project” you make a file or an entire folder available to a project’s team.

  • A recycle bin with a way back

Deleted documents and folders land in the recycle bin, and “Restore” brings them back. Only “Delete permanently” removes them for good.

  • Storage in view

On the overview, “Storage used” shows the consumption and, if there is one, the limit.
