Accounting
The payroll run posts from the wage types, each with a debit and a credit account. If payroll accounts are missing from the chart of accounts, “Create missing payroll accounts” creates them for you.
Learn moreHR is the module in Saldora that brings together employees, working time, leave, absences and payroll. Your team clocks in and out and requests leave, and you approve the requests. The payroll run calculates the monthly salary with the Swiss deductions, posts it and creates the payment order; the payslips go to employees as password-protected PDFs.

Four stations: add employees, clock time, manage leave and absences – and run payroll.
You add new people with the wizard, with workload, target working time and the canton that determines the public holidays. If you link the person to a login, this unlocks their time clock. You keep the salary agreement, insurance and children on the employee page.
At the top of the header is “Clock in”; after the click, the button changes to “Clock out” and shows the running time. “My time tracking” shows “Today” and “This week”. Managers correct forgotten clock entries under HR → Time.
You set the leave entitlement per person and year; Saldora calculates the pro-rata entitlement from workload and start date. You approve or reject requests; days are counted Monday to Friday excluding the canton’s public holidays. You record absences such as illness, accident or military service with an optional medical certificate.
The payroll run calculates the month for several people at once and warns you about missing details. After approval, you post it from the wage types, create the payment order as a pain.001 file and send each payslip as a password-protected PDF – three steps, one click each.
Four things that go beyond the payslip.
Under “My payslips”, employees with a login see their released payslips and salary certificates as PDFs – each person only their own.
You define waiting period, daily allowance and continued pay per insurance group. From the end of the waiting period, the payroll run reduces the salary and books the insurer’s daily allowance as a receivable.
The salary agreement records salary, workload, 13th monthly salary and insurance. You record changes from a given date, and the history stays visible.
Salary certificates (Form 11), reports to the compensation office, insurers and tax administration as CSV, and the provision for leave and overtime are all handled on one page.

When a payroll run is sent, as a PDF by email, protected with a password that you set on the employee page. Employees with a login also see their payslips and salary certificates under “My payslips”.
An approved payroll run is locked. With “Withdraw approval” and a reason you reopen it, as long as it has not been posted, no payment order exists and no payslip has been delivered. You settle a forgotten bonus in a supplementary payroll run.
